About

How it all began…

Maineiac Manor, conjured by the sinister mind of Jon McCann during the chilling fall of 2020, found its unholy genesis through an unbreakable bond with his macabre comrade, Nick Bambrick, and an insatiable thirst for all things Halloween. It swiftly clawed its way to the sinister summit of Maine’s haunted scene.

What began as innocent childhood porch adornments at Jon’s mother’s abode transformed into a cryptic sanctum, hidden within the ominous confines of his garage. In the dead of night, Jon’s nightmarish collection of homemade horrors and store-bought terrors grew, year after chilling year. For four dreaded years, the locals gathered in fearful anticipation at Jon’s home on Halloween night, lured by the bewitched promise of a small, yet malevolently adorned, haunted lair. With each sinister touch, Jon and Nick orchestrated a petrifying spectacle, leaving those who dared to cross the threshold forever marked by their unholy craft.

Jon and Nick have reconvened, unleashing their dark pact to resurrect the haunt as a sprawling, professional, and infinitely more nefarious haunted citadel. Enshrouded in the support of their sinister kin, ghastly comrades, and unspeakable volunteers, Maineiac Manor flung wide its foreboding gates for the very first time on the accursed night of Halloween in 2020.

Celebrity Guests

Over the years, the eerie halls of Maineiac Manor have welcomed some notable guests courtesy of the Bangor Comic & Toy Con. Among the distinguished figures to grace the manor were Kane Hodder, R.A. Mihailoff, James Winburn, Bill Moseley, and Peter Robbins, just to name a handful.

However, the manor’s founder, Jon McCann, had the distinct privilege of not only sitting down with the iconic horror actor, Sid Haig, but also paying homage by expertly recreating Sid’s legendary Captain Spaulding clown makeup.
