There will be live scare actors, and it may not be suitable for young children.

Wander the twisted hallways and corridors at your own pace (and at your own risk)! For the ultimate chilling encounter, explore the manor with your own group, ideally consisting of four or fewer individuals, but be careful not to lose your way! Visiting the Manor is a unique and interactive haunted attraction where visitors navigate through the spooky environment on their own, without the guidance of tour guides or staff. Unlike traditional guided tours, this self-guided haunted house allows guests to explore at their own pace, creating a more personalized and immersive experience. Soak up the chilling atmosphere and ignite your senses with the sights, sounds, and smells. At times it may be difficult to tell if you’re looking at an actor or just a prop.

Was not expecting that! Visiting from
Boston and only went to the “no scare” (no actors) version, and was blown away! Extremely well done! Wish I could come back when the actors were on!

The fact that they allow you to walk through with no actors early in the season is super cool! You can really appreciate the detail they put into the sets that make for a legit creepy experience even without the jump scares that actors provide . Animatronics, intense lighting and sound effects, movies, smells, and other sensory surprises make this a must do! Can’t wait to go back through with actors!

Maineiac Manor looks absolutely breathtaking for 2023. I toured the Manor during the No Scare Event and was blown away at the atmosphere even without the scare actors. Each room within the haunt brings new chills through music cues, eerie lighting, and unexpectedly realistic scents. It’s an extremely immersive Halloween experience that I’m sure is only complete with the talented team of scare actors! Thank you for making the Halloween season so spooky, Maineiac Manor!
